What is Far Cry 4

"Far Cry 4" is a first-person shooter set in an open world environment. In "Far Cry 4," you're free to roam the island of Kyrat. Every inch of this island is fully explorable, with caves and villages often hiding secrets and collectibles. You can travel on foot or hitch a ride in a vehicle. There are both land vehicles and air vehicles, including helicopters and hang gliders. Be careful as you explore as Kyrat is teaming with wildlife of all kinds. Savage animals such as honey badgers and tigers will rip you to shreds in a matter of seconds.

Liberate Your Country

As Ajay Ghale, you've returned home to Kyrat after a long absence. Upon your return, you learn that Kyrat is now in the grip of a madman known as Pagan Min. It's your mission to help free the people from the oppressive rule of dictator Pagan Min. You'll carry out this mission in "Far Cry 4" not with diplomacy but with firearms and explosives. You'll handle everything from pistols to rocket launchers as you attempt to overthrow Pagan Min. You'll even wield special weapons such as flamethrowers at various points in the game.

As you exterminate your enemies, you'll level up your character. Each new skill allows you to pull off new moves in combat. Some of these moves let you kill your enemies silently, such as hanging off a ledge and throwing an opponent to his death. Other skills are passive, such as increasing your health. In addition to the 20-hour campaign, there are numerous side missions you can undertake.
